Where I come from we say that rhythm is the soul of life, because the
whole universe revolves around rhythm, and when we get out of rhythm,
that's when we get into trouble. For this reason the drum, next to the
human voice, is our most important instrument. It is special.

I decided to begin a myth site that could address myth in relation to the rhythms of life. I am specifically interested in myths and musics of cultures all over the world.

Hi Kris,
I am delighted to find your site. I am a student of the Western Mystery Tradition and it's related mythologies. Love the work of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung. I remeber my grandmother telling me of the Wee Folk when I was a child. Something in me still resonates with the Faery Faith.
I've seen most of the movies you have listed and will check out the others.
